With both the Super Bowl and the return of the hit show “The Voice,” NBC earned the top spot in almost all of its key demographics for the month of February. According to Nielsen, NBC took the top spot among adults 18-49 and either ranks #1 or ties for #1 in all other key demographics.
Following the Super Bowl, “The Voice” premiere pulled in over 19 million viewers for the network. The boost from these events brought a 131 percent increase from NBC’s numbers last February, and their Monday night lineup alone (featuring “The Voice” and the new hit “Smash”) tripled in its 18-49 demographic from 2011.
